This piece is a re-working of the third of the Three Settings of Poems by Robert Graves. The composer wished to write something for left hand alone after having published a number of pieces for that medium by Maurice Karkoff for his friend the poet Tomas Transtroemer. This piece is also dedicated to Transtroemer for his 70th birthday in April 2001. The composer would like to thank
