Beschreibung
The piece was composed in early 2014 and is in one continuous movement divided into
three sections.
The first section is a fantasia, with hints of quotations from Schubert's song The Trout .
The second section becomes almost entirely tonal with short variations on a G major tune.
The composition of the last section coincided with the development of the Ukrainian
disturbances and inspired an eastern European touch to the final rondo section.
