Eloquent Variations - (B36)
for B flat trumpet (or cornet) and piano
This piece was written in May 1990 for the composer's nephew as a test piece.
The title refers to lines from the poem Musick's Empire by Andrew Marvell ( 1621- 1678) .
Some to the Lute,
Some to the Viol went,
While others chose the Cornet eloquent.

The zip file contains the score (with trumpet/cornet part reduced in size) and the trumpet/cornet part separate.
