Description
This piece was written in 1992 for Joseph Nolan, whose playing so impressed the composer that he wrote not only this piece, but also the Organ Sonata (B56) for him.
It is intended to be played in a recital which opens with the Prelude. Like that piece, it ends in C major after a struggle through atonal episodes, but its ending is peaceful and valedictory.
